Other Stuff I Do

I'm an avid backpacker and outdoor adventurer. In 2019, I completed over 2000 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail, facing extreme mental and physical challenges. Additionally, in 2021, I completed the entire 486-mile stretch of the Colorado Trail. My love for nature extends beyond these monumental achievements, and I frequently embark on weekend excursions and day hikes all over the Pacific Northwest.

Driven by my deep connection with the outdoors, I've started documenting my adventures on YouTube through my channel, Hiking Rogue. This creative endeavor has sparked my interest in video editing and filmmaking, motivating me to enhance my cinematography and storytelling skills. While I aspire to eventually turn my channel into a more substantial endeavor, for now, I find great satisfaction in simply sharing my experiences with others.

Throughout my career, I've been involved in the motorsports and automotive industries, fostering a diverse range of related interests. Building on my passion for camping and backpacking, I've recently ventured into overlanding, and am currently in the process of transforming my 2006 Subaru Outback into a capable trail vehicle. Additionally, I have my sights set on participating in the Gambler 500 in the near future.

Beyond my outdoor pursuits, I'm an avid gaming enthusiast, relishing the tabletop experiences of D&D and Magic: The Gathering, as well as indulging in MMOs and indie favorites on the computer. I'm also an avid reader and am a pretty good cook.
